101 Poppies Project — 101 paintings ultimately intended to be arranged on a wall as one large work, but also to be viewed up close and intimately, one by one.
- Each painting primarily on 140 lb watercolor paper, most approximately 6” x 9“.
- Predominantly executed with water & various inks: scented, plain, iridescent, organic.
- Additionally: inktense pencil, watercolor pencil, regular pencil. No brushes are used in their creation. Occasional watercolors: plain, iridescent, mica pigments.
- The mediums are inks: plain, scented, iridescent, sheen, organic, mica pigmented; brewed in Germany, Japan, France, Australia, Korea, Philippines, England, United States; plus lots of water.
